Spring Creek Lavender is one of a growing number of small family farms in the Kittitas Valley of Washington, dedicated to retaining the agricultural tradition of the area. We are surrounded by fields of Timothy hay, golden cornfields, sunflowers and wheat rippling in the wind. Our farm adds lavender to the mix.
We are located just northeast of the town of Ellensburg. Five beautiful acres, divided from adjacent pasture land by the waters of Spring Creek. Hot dry summers, rocky soil. Lavender is the perfect fit.
Here at Spring Creek, we grow several varieties of lavender, from the early, sweetly fragrant English, to the tall, stately Lavandins. Our fields are chemical free, and our fertilizer is organic. During the height of the season, find us at the farmers market, selling fresh cut bunches-the fragrance will draw you to our booth! We also have dried bunches, and dried lavender "buds" for fragrance and culinary use. We also offer a line of handcrafted body care products, using the essential oil we distill here to add a delightful lavender fragrance.
To extend the season, we grow a garden full of flowers, especially dahlias, available on our self-serve flower cart. Depending on the time of year, you will see fields of blooming lavender or our beautiful cutting garden in the background.
And our farm is home to Ellensburg Distillery, the second Craft Distillery licensed in Washington State. Our signature product is Amethyst Lavender Gin, made with the lavender we grow here at Spring Creek.
Thank you for dropping by! We'd love to hear from you, to schedule a visit or if you are interested in any of our fine lavender or distillery products!
